Use SCHELLAC before painting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

SCHELLAC is used before painting on wood to seal twigs and resin gaps, as well as to cover discolouration in the substrate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Packaged in 0.25 liter tin canisters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contains: Saturated solution of shellac flakes in 99.5% isopropanol.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTE: Shellac must have 99.5% alcohol as solvent.<\/strong> Weaker alcohol, e.g. 96% red spirit, contains water that remains when the alcohol has evaporated and the shellac has set. The water creates pores through which resin bleeds through. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to use SCHELLAC<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pour a small amount at a time into a disposable container. Use a simple brush \u2013 vessels and brushes cannot be washed after use. Iron out evenly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drying time: 1\/2 – 1 hour.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

WARNING: Highly flammable liquid. Do not expose to heat, sparks, open flame or hot surfaces. Do not smoke nearby.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
